BSHP and Acton Energy Breakfast Briefing session

4 April, 2025

On 3rd April, BSHP and Acton Energy held a briefing session on energy efficiency for housing providers focused on the importance of sustainable building practices, behaviour change, retrofitting existing homes and adopting innovative technologies to improve energy efficiency in homes and our communities.

Act on Energy provided members with a greater awareness of the resources that Acton Energy can provide to support both our tenants, and staff in delivering advice, guidance and support around energy efficiency. The session also discussed training opportunities and a range of other resources available, that may be beneficial for organisations, staff teams and customers. A number of our BSHP members attended the session.

With huge thanks to Brum’s oldest charity, and our BSHP members, Lench’s Trust who hosted us on the day!
